Arithmophobia

It stands for the Fear of numbers.

It's official.
I just went to check it on Google.
and yeah, turns out there is a fear for numbers.
So, I was reading the article and this is how it goes..
Arithmophobic symptoms can be mentalemotional and physical. The anxiety and fear can go from mild feelings of apprehension to afull-blown panic attack.
Typically, the closer you are to what you’re afraid of, the greater your fear will be. You can test the severity of your problem with this 2-minute online number phobia test.

Do I need to say more?
Obviously I clicked on it -.-
and the results were like

while I was like "HOLY SHIT?!"
Okay, so I continued reading and then I came to a part of the article
that talks bout the mental & emotional symptoms of this Arithmophobia.
Apparently I nearly died out of shock cause I have most of the symptoms ==

Mental Symptoms

  • Obsessive Thoughts
  • Difficulty thinking about anything other than the fear
  • Really bad images and/or movies of numbers
  • Feelings of unreality or of being detached from yourself
  • Fear of losing control or going crazy
  • Fear of fainting

Emotional Symptoms

  • Anticipatory Anxiety:Persistent worrying about upcoming events that involve numbers
  • Terror: A persistent and overwhelming fear of the same
  • Desire to Flee: An intense instinct to leave the situation (which is tough when its purely in the mind)
While not generally experienced at the same time as number phobia episode, we find that overall when they think about their past, most clients have elevated levels of one or more of:
  • Anger, Sadness, Fear, Hurt & Guilt

Am I like going to die or something T-T
Okay fine, I am over exaggerating a bit -.-
But seriously, I never thought it was that serious D:

I seriously hate numbers.
I never liked them in the first place.
I never seem to ever get it right
So SCREW YOU! =="
