A First For Everything

I finally payed a visit to the saloon to dye my hair today. Didn't manage to dye my whole head though. I was thinking of bright colors but after discussing with my stylist I figured I'd just do the bottom layer since bright colors are not beneficial and it spoils your hair since you're gonna have to do tonnes of bleaching. A minimum amount of 4 times if you really want a nice color to pop. Plus, bleaching your hair would cost even more and I don't find it worth paying since the color wears off after 2 weeks. I certainly would not wanna pay more than 170 bucks just to have a dye that lasts for 2 weeks.

My stylist was the one who suggested this. The color will only be obvious if I tie half of my hair up. It's actually orange but it turned out to be a nice red and orange-ish color since my hair was dark enough. Didn't wanted to go full color on this since I wouldn't want to over exaggerate things. I was kinda shocked when she suggested orange but then again, I wouldn't wanna be running on the streets having the same hair color as most of the people. She also told me that any color would suit me since I have a fair pale skin tone and orange looks okay after it fades so why not? Like what Derrick recently posted, there's always a first for everything.

Here's a better view of the color. Ignore the Angelina-Jolie-like lips please.

To be honest, I feel a little bad ass after I dyed my hair like this. Not just because I dyed it, it's just, how do I put this, it looks kinda bad ass that's all. Oh well, you'll understand once we meet up (I think)
