Behold! My new college.
How was my first day you ask? One word - dreadful, very dreadful.
Not only I was lost and ended up touring the whole Petaling Jaya and Bangsar, I was also an hour late for my orientation. Thank goodness I managed to find my way back and I only missed their ice breaking session and nothing important. Met a few friends along the way and I thought it was going okay so far.
Next, the classes. We were escorted into our classes for a short briefing after having a tour around the campus to make sure that we have chosen the right course that we want. There were only 8 of us and that's only the combination of students who are taking Graphic Design and Creative Multimedia. So basically, four students from these two courses.
What I think about my current classmates? Loners Survivors - people who are still not willing to get out of their shells. I still find it hard to communicate with most of them cause they stutter and mumble most of the time. Another sad thing is that there are completely no good looking students in my class ): Oh well, expected from the Designing and Multimedia group. Typical nerd or weird faces Haha.
On the bright side, our lecturers told us that we'll be combining classes with the other courses for the first semester so yeay! Normal looking classmates! :D I'm just hoping I'll be able to fit in with everyone as times passes. It is how you survive college life after all.
The seniors at iact college are really nice and friendly. They're so close to each other despite the fact that they're in different courses and I really like that. Even the lecturers. You can see them hugging each other randomly or just giving each other high fives on the way and I find that really cool.
Back to being dreadful, the first batch, which is the January intake students have to sit for a small English test since our actual results are not out yet so basically when we found out we had to write a 200 word essay in 30 minutes we were totally mindfucked since we stopped writing them eons ago. Thank goodness there was an objective paper though. I'm just hoping I did okay ):
The traffic at PJ was just agonizing and a real sore to the butt. There were so many darn turns and highways around that area so basically I had to be extra careful when I was heading back. One wrong turn and you're gonna wait ages to get back to the right route. Fortunately, I manage to find my way back since it was a lot more easier than going there. You have completely no idea how scared I was. Going to a place I just went once and to make it even worse, being lost, all alone, not even knowing which road signs I should follow. How cruel, to send me out alone like that. I hate PJ line since it's still very confusing to me. I just hope I'll be okay after some time.
That's basically it so thank you for putting an effort to read this long post. Good luck in whatever you may do and I sincerely hope you have a lovely day ahead :)
Hmm, I crave for Chatime all of a sudden...
