Deviant Art's Facebook page has a habit of sharing wonderful paintings and drawings now and then. This painting was one of them. Saw it few weeks ago and instantly fell in love with it. It's also my current wallpaper :) Isn't it beautiful? The way the watercolor flows through her hair, very nice and wonderful mix of cold colors and a little bit of warm yellow. That wet-on-wet (yes, I'm aware that it sound weird but that's what they call it) technique is freaking fantastic!
Guess what happened few weeks later? I found her Facebook page and her Youtube channel! What a terrific coincidence! Her name's Agnes-Cecile and she's only 21! She's pretty too! For a girl to have such skill at that kind of an age, boy she sure is good. No, good is not the word, professional and gifted is! Her skills are just so fantastic! I'm truly amazed by her love for art.
The whole process! I freaking love watching speed paintings! I find it really fascinating!
