First attempt at acrylic painting today during Principles of Arts class. This work you see here, is considered a failure. Sad isn't it. We were suppose to do shapes and gradient with the acrylic paint.
Acrylic paint dries out real fast so basically we have to be quick. We have to plan out the whole thing we're gonna draw and shit but nope, I prefer doing it spontaneously so yes, YOLO! The moment I grabbed on to the brush and started dabbing on my canvas, I knew I was gonna have fun. Such.spontaneous.strokes.erhmergerd! But no, my lecturer just had to come by and burst my bubble. Oh, by the end of the class, she also said "This is only a small test, and I can already see who's going to fail or pass the next assignment". What an asshole a bummer! Fun sucker I was just having fun... No need to be so harsh.. Geez..
To be honest, I like what I did.. it was based on what I was feeling! I think.. That's what Hong said .__. I like those spontaneous brush strokes, that random what-the-heck-is-this-shit and idgaf feeling but nope, apparently someone doesn't appreciate random art!
I'm worried bout failing this subject.. I might need to repeat.. Nothing I do in this class is ever acceptable. I don't like Principles of Arts class anymore..
