Went to Pavillion with Peiqian today to check out the Shimokita Creative Street Market they were having at Tokyo Street. After scanning through all the handmade crafts we decided to had lunch. We headed to Starbucks at first but apparently it was a full house so we decided to hunt for another spot to eat and eventually, we somehow manage to pass by WATAMI Japanese Restaurant which was located right next to OverTime if I'm not mistaken.
It was both me and Peiqian's first time at WATAMI and after having lunch over there, I was so satisfied that I just simply had to do a review of it. I managed to find the official web page of it too! Just click on the first picture below and it'll send you straight off to it.
We both ordered the Casual Set for 2. Small eaters beware 'cause boy it sure was hard to finish off everything but, it was definitely worth it. You have multiple choices to choose from too! All these and another two bowls of ice-cream and drink for only 80 bucks! You could save up to 20+ if you choose the set and 20 bucks my friend, is a lot. It would cost you a lot more than 80 bucks for two if you hadn't called for the set. Trust me.
Putting aside the fact that the price was worth it, the service there was totally awesome. Food tastes nice too! Especially the pork and the soup. I was literally nodding throughout the whole time I was chewing or swallowing it! If I were to rate this restaurant, I'd give it a two thumbs up. The setting that they have was really nice as well. It's as if you're in a 4 star restaurant. You should really check out at the website if you're interested. Everything's there, even the menu!
Did I mention that they have a washroom's provided too? Most restaurant don't even have washrooms so basically you have to head out to look for one. So convenient. I'd definitely visit WATAMI again if I have a chance.
Oh, do take note that they actually give you a 15% OFF for all à la carte menu items every Monday to Thursday from 11am- 12pm & 4pm-7pm. :D
