Being a Charmander

So, I.. lala-fied myself.
I've gained quite a few nicknames after I dyed this color

Hayley Williams 2.0 (Asian version), Amanda Weasley, Asian Ginger etc
The one I liked most was Charmander. Yes, most of my friends call me Charmander now. *laughs

Well as you can see, I switched from red to orange hair now. Why? It's because I have another 2 more semesters till my intern so I decided to YOLO all the way and bleach my hair. I wouldn't wanna regret not doing anything crazy once I'm an old fag so yeap, bleach and crazy colors it is.

I dyed my hair blue before this but it wasn't obvious since I didn't bleach my whole head. I was too focused on how ruined my hair would look since it was already a mess before I got myself into all this hair dye thingy. Which also explains why I looked like I didn't dye my hair at all. So after that incident I decided to grow some balls and bleached my whole head after a few months of saving up. It was of course a little easier since it was after Chinese New Year.

Why orange? Cause red was getting real mainstream. Besides, not many is able to pull off this color so I decided to give it a try since my bestie said it'd look nice on me. Why not pink, purple or blue? I already have a friend who's been rocking pink hair for a long time so no, I decided not to go for the same color. Her name's Jelica by the way and I seriously loveeee her pink hair. So cute! Hmmm purple or blue. At some point I was quite certain that blue hair would be the next hair trend since I've seen a number of them already so nope. I wouldn't mind giving it a try for my next attempt of hair color though :D

For those of you who were wondering where I did my hair, I did it at the same saloon which is Heads Up. I was thinking of going to those fancy professional hair saloons like Peek-a-boo or Number76 but due to my low income, I just couldn't bare the cost so I decided to stay loyal towards the saloon my friend recommended which was located at Kota Damansara. The price was a lot more easier on my pocket too. Not even joking.

I went over to Peek-a-boo once to ask bout the price if I wanted to bleach and color my hair and they told me it'd cost around RM500+. Oh, and it's without treatment too. "Fashion color mah. Not to mention that we're opening a bottle of bleach for you." was what they girl said. I literally slapped myself mentally and I could hear my wallet pleading me to reconsider. I did my hair for only RM280 at Heads Up by the way. It was suppose to cost me RM350 but I go there real often so Coco decided to give me a discount. Not to mention that this price included the treatment needed after hair dye.

For the girls out there who always wanted to bleach and color their hair, RM300 is actually a really good price. I'm not trying to say those professional saloons are bad, they're professionals and their job is really very well done indeed. I'm just giving you another option which is less painful for your wallet because I pay for the stuff I do to my hair on my own so yes, I understand your pain. Absolutely no harm intended. Heads Up's not sponsoring me in any way too just in case you guys were wondering. Just sharing what I know that's all so yeap, the decision is entirely up to you.

That's it for this post. Thank you and good luck readers
